Tuttomercato reports that Benevento is interested in Catanzaro's 22-year-old Italian midfielder, Gabriele Alesi, amid competition from other clubs. Benevento has made an exploratory inquiry for Alesi, but a deal is not expected to be simple as many clubs have requested information. Lecce also showed interest in the player in recent weeks. Alesi's contract with Catanzaro is valid until June 30, 2028, and the club will reportedly require a significant offer to sell him. Last season, he made a combined 35 appearances and scored 7 goals across Serie B and Serie C. He has been capped once by Italy U21. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.40m.
