Mirassol, a team from the interior of São Paulo, has signed Brazilian-Portuguese midfielder Gabriel Pires from Portuguesa after paying the 32-year-old player's release clause. Consequently, Pires did not train on Wednesday and will not participate in Lusa's Copa do Brasil debut against Altos. According to ge, Portuguesa, known as Fabulosa, covered the salary offer from Mirassol (Leão) and proposed a long-term contract, but the athlete still chose to make the transfer.
