Representatives of Lille met with Gabriel Mec and his agents last Thursday to discuss a potential transfer to France. During the meeting, Lille presented their sporting project and Mec's side received their offer positively. Lille intends to sign a five-year contract with Mec and pay approximately 10 million euros for the player. The outcome of the negotiations depends on Gremio's position. Gremio seeks to receive about 20 million euros for their player and has previously refused a more lucrative offer for Mec from Shakhtar.

The French club Lille is interested in Grêmio's attacking midfielder and prodigy, Gabriel Mek, who is valued by the French club for his rare dribbling skills and field vision.
