Brazilian attacking midfielder Gabriel Santana has reached an agreement in principle to join Sporting Cristal for the 2026 season, a deal which is subject to contractual agreements and medical examinations. The 35-year-old, who previously played for Flamengo, joins after being part of a campaign with his former club Mirassol in the last Brasileirão, which secured a direct place in the Libertadores. Gabriel will play in the 2026 Libertadores with his new club after a season where he scored eight goals in 36 matches for Mirassol. His contract is set to expire on 31/12/2026, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €300k.
