The Super League leaders announced on Tuesday that FC Thun have signed striker Furkan Dursun from Rapid Wien on a contract until the summer of 2029.

Striker Furkan Dursun, who was loaned to SKN St. Pölten during the autumn season, is transferring from SK Rapid Wien to Swiss league leader FC Thun. Both clubs agreed on an immediate and permanent transfer of the 20-year-old. Markus Katzer, managing director of sport at Rapid, stated that he thanks Furkan Dursun for his commitment and understands Dursun's wish to take the opportunity in the highest league in Switzerland. Katzer added that they approved the move because they were able to agree with FC Thun officials on the conditions of the transfer.

Furkan Dursun is close to transferring to a foreign league. The target is said to be FC Thun, the current leader of the Swiss Super League. According to a report by '4-4-2.ch', Rapid is demanding a transfer fee of around 400,000 euros for the offensive player.
