Frederik Rønnow: FC Union Berlin Contract Extension

Frederik Rönnow has extended his contract with Union Berlin. Rönnow stated that Union is a place where he is appreciated not just as a player but also as a person. He added that the solidarity in the team and the trust placed in him mean a lot, and this is why he extended his contract, as Union feels like home to him. Sportboss Horst Heldt said that Rönnow is an outstanding goalkeeper whose quality, experience, and personality make him a key figure for the team. Heldt stated that they are very happy that he continues to commit to Union.

Danish goalkeeper Frederik Rönnow, 33, extended his contract in Berlin-Köpenick. The Bundesliga club did not disclose the contract's duration. Rönnow had last extended his contract with Union in January 2024. Union Berlin released a club statement with a quote from Frederik Rönnow regarding his reasons for the extension. Union's managing director Horst Heldt stated that the club is very pleased that Rönnow continues to commit to Union. According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is €3 million.
