Freddie Turley Transfer from Derby County U21 to Dunfermline Athletic
Derby County Academy defender Freddie Turley has joined Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic on a loan deal that will last until the end of the 2025/26 season. The 19-year-old versatile defender, who can play at right-back and in defensive midfield, has been a regular player for Derby's Under-21s and B Team since signing from Shamrock Rovers in July 2024. The loan provides the Republic of Ireland Youth International with an opportunity to gain further competitive senior experience. Dunfermline is managed by former Celtic boss Neil Lennon and currently sits fifth in the Scottish second tier. Turley has 17 caps for Ireland's U19s and has made 10 appearances for Derby's U21s in Premier League 2 this season. His contract with the club runs until June 2027.
