Cameroonian and French attacker Frank Magri, 26, has arrived in Doha to finalize his transfer to Al Gharafa in Qatar. He is joining as a free agent because his contract with Toulouse has expired. It is expected that the transfer will be made official on Tuesday morning. An agreement has been reached by all parties for a two-season contract that includes an option for an extra year. According to a previous reveal by Africafoot, both Swansea City and SCO Angers had shown interest in the player. Magri has 20 caps and 2 goals for Cameroon and was earning an annual salary of €500,000 at Toulouse. According to estimations from Transfermarkt, he is valued at €3 million. It was reported that in September 2025, Toulouse rejected a bid from Swansea valued at €3.5 million with an additional €500,000 in bonuses. Magri joined Toulouse from Bastia in July 2023 for a fee that was reported to be €2.0M.
