Franco Lepore's transfer to Al-Ittifaq in the United Arab Emirates was canceled due to a bureaucratic error related to the transfer matching system (TMS). The Italian federation required a correction that couldn't be made before the transfer window closed on February 12. Lepore is currently training with Al-Ittifaq and has a permit granted by Lecco, but he will return to Italy if no resolution is found. Al-Ittifaq is interested in signing him next year if they win the upcoming championship.
