Francis Okoronkwo has joined Doncaster Rovers on a permanent basis, signing a two-year deal with the League One club following his release from Premier League side Everton. The move follows a loan spell at Doncaster last season which ended after just five appearances due to injury. Manager Grant McCann expressed his delight at the signing, stating that everyone had seen the striker's potential and quality. McCann added that the club wants to help Okoronkwo reach a point where he is playing and scoring regularly. The forward had previously scored a winning goal against Doncaster while playing for Lincoln City.
