According to Tuttomercato, the transfer of defender Francesco Benassai to A.C. Trento 1921 S.p.A. has been confirmed. A.C. Trento 1921 S.p.A. announced that it has acquired the rights for the defender from L.R. Vicenza on a permanent basis, with Benassai signing a contract valid until 30 June 2028. Benassai leaves Vicenza, where he secured promotion to Serie B last season, and has signed with Trento for the next two years.

According to Nicolo Schira, 28-year-old Italian defender Francesco Benassai has been signed by Trento from Vicenza. He has agreed to a two-year contract. He joined Vicenza in July 2025 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €200k.
