In a move described as a surprise just days before the transfer window closed, Kasımpaşa announced the signing of 29-year-old Malian right winger Fousseni Diabaté. The club stated that after the player completed his medical checks at Liv Hospital Ulus, he signed a 2+1 year contract at the Turgay Ciner Spor Facilities. Diabaté previously played for other Turkish clubs, including Trabzonspor, Giresunspor, and Göztepe.
