Flavius Daniliuc, an Austrian central defender born in 2001, has been transferred to Basilea, a Swiss team, on a permanent basis. Daniliuc will leave Salernitana after three seasons, with the last season spent on loan at Hellas Verona.

Flavius Daniliuc, currently with Salernitana, did not report to the club's training camp in Cascia. He was previously on loan to Hellas Verona, who did not exercise their option to buy. Daniliuc desires to stay in Serie A or move to a top division in another country. Salernitana, having invested significantly in acquiring him from Nice in 2022, is looking to resolve the situation, possibly recouping part of their investment.

Flavius Daniliuc joined Verona on a loan deal from Salernitana in the summer. He has played 251 minutes so far this season.

Daniliuc has left Salernitana to save on salary expenses. The departure happened at the last moment without any financial gain for the club.
