Tuttomercato reports that Filippo Berra could leave Salernitana and that Foggia would not be a suitable destination for him.

According to SalernitanaNews.it, Foggia has significant interest in 31-year-old Italian right-back Filippo Berra and has reportedly already secured an agreement with Salernitana for the transfer. However, the completion of the deal is not considered close because the player's personal preference is for a different destination, Ravenna. The Romagna-based club has initiated initial contact with Salernitana to assess the viability of a potential deal. Berra, who has one cap for the Italy U20 team, joined Salernitana in January 2026 and has a contract with the club until June 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €400k.
