Filip Panák's agent, Václav Svěrkoš, stated on the podcast 'Kontakt tam byl' that the 30-year-old Czech defender might not stay at Sparta and that the relationship between the player and coach Brian Priske has ended. The agent explained that Panák desires more playing time and does not want to only be a leader in the dressing room. Svěrkoš confirmed there is interest in Panák within the Czech Republic, naming Karviná as a potential club but adding that he is uncertain if that will be the player's destination. He also noted that some clubs in Poland are making inquiries. He informs interested parties about a knee problem, which he stated cannot be ignored. Panák's contract is set to expire after the season, and a possible transfer was previously discussed in the winter, at which time, according to Deníku.cz, Baník Ostrava was interested in him.
