Filip Helander Transfer from Omonia Nicosia to Häcken

Filip Helander, a former national team defender, has been confirmed to join Häcken on loan from Omonia Nicosia, a club based in Cyprus. Helander reportedly expressed his excitement about joining Häcken and participating in the Conference League. Häcken's football chief, Martin Ericsson, praised Helander's defensive skills and experience in international play, noting that these attributes are expected to strengthen their defense line for the upcoming European matches. Helander, aged 32, brings significant experience from his previous tenures at clubs such as Malmö FF, Hellas Verona, Bologna, Rangers, and Odense before his move to Omonia Nicosia.
