Koper has officially confirmed the arrival of 24-year-old Serbian central defender Filip Bačkulja, who is moving to Slovenia from Novi Pazar. A week prior, the player had reportedly extended his contract with his club for another year. Despite this, Bačkulja was on trial with Koper and has now officially joined the current Slovenian vice-champions. Last season, he made 21 appearances in the Serbian championship for Novi Pazar. The defender has one cap for the Serbia U21 national team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €400k.
