According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Benfica has asked for information regarding Fikayo Tomori, a 28-year-old English international, who is considered to be outside of Milan's plans. While Milan is open to a sale, a potential deal is obstructed by the defender's high salary, which the Portuguese club is unwilling to pay. Tomori, who has 6 caps for England and joined AC Milan in July 2021, has a contract with the club that runs until 2027 and has also reportedly attracted long-standing interest from the Premier League. His current Transfermarkt market value is €17.00m. Reports from July 2026 indicated an asking price of between €15-20 million. Valuations reported in the summer of 2024 were between €40-60 million.
