The Bern club announced on Monday that 20-year-old Emmanuel Tsimba is transferring with immediate effect to KVC Westerlo in the top Belgian division, where he has signed a four-year contract. The Swiss U20 international, who has 8 caps and 2 goals, came from Servette's youth department and had been part of YB's professional squad since the previous season, appearing in 12 competitive games and scoring once. Before joining the first team, Tsimba scored eleven goals in 32 matches for YB's U21 side. The centre-forward was also loaned to GC for the second half of the previous season to get more match practice, scoring two goals in 17 appearances. Tsimba was no longer in the YB squad this season, which led to his permanent departure. His current Transfermarkt market value is €600k.
