According to Globo.com, Felipe Negrucci, a 22-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder, has joined Athletic Club on loan from São Paulo, where he lacked space in the first team. The move was requested by Athletic's coach, Alex, who is familiar with the player from having managed São Paulo's under-20 team between 2021 and 2022. Negrucci, who spent his entire youth development at the Paulista club, arrived less than a week ago and was quickly registered with the CBF. His contract with São Paulo is valid until the end of 2029, and his market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 season, he made one appearance in Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and one in Série B, scoring a goal in the latter.
