Previously, Belarusian goalkeeper Fyodor Lapoukhov, 23, had been offered to other teams in Russia, with Rostov being mentioned most recently. He was also proposed to Lokomotiv (Moscow) through managers with connections to the club's management. His agents reportedly indicated that the player would be willing to wait until the winter if a transfer did not happen immediately. Lokomotiv does not currently intend to bid for the goalkeeper. It is reported that teams from Europe are also monitoring Lapoukhov, and Mainz is believed to hold the most serious interest. Lapoukhov joined his current club, CSKA Sofia, in January 2025, and his contract runs until June 30, 2028. He has 16 caps for the Belarus national team and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.00m.
