Cercle Brugge has signed 18-year-old Belgian-Moroccan striker Fady Ouazzani Chahdi from Genk. The Moroccan youth international, who was the top scorer for Genk's U18 side last season with twelve goals in 22 appearances, will join Jong Cercle. He has agreed to a two-season contract which includes an option for an extension. According to technical director Luciano Murchio, Ouazzani Chahdi has excellent mobility in the final zone, a strong scoring ability in the box, and the qualities to create chances for himself and his teammates. Murchio added that the club sees clear potential for the player to develop further at Jong Cercle and is very satisfied that he chose them as the next step in his career. Ouazzani Chahdi has earned one cap for Morocco's U18 team.
