Facundo Lescano Transfer from Avellino to Salernitana
Tuttomercato reports that Facundo Lescano is close to leaving Avellino for Salernitana. Salernitana has received approval from patron Danilo Iervolino to purchase the player's rights outright and has matched the offer from Union Brescia, which was approximately 800,000 euros. Salernitana offered a three-and-a-half-year contract, while the Lombard club proposed a two-year deal. The final decision on the transfer belongs to Lescano.
According to Tuttomercato, Salernitana is interested in acquiring striker Lescano. The striker would consider it a welcome destination, particularly because of the fans' warmth. The club from Salerno is proposing a loan with an obligation to buy, while Avellino wants to recover the one million euros invested a year ago to purchase Lescano from Trapani.
Avellino's 29-year-old forward Facundo Lescano could move in the January transfer window, as he has made only five starts in Serie B this season. The Argentine was an important player in the club's promotion. TuttoC.com reports that Lescano is a target for Salernitana, Brescia, Ravenna, and Ascoli. The centre-forward joined the club in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2027. In 9 league appearances this season, he has scored one goal and provided one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €900k.
