There was interest from newly promoted AEL in signing Facundo García before he joined RFS. The 25-year-old Argentine defensive midfielder, who has played in Argentina, Spain, and Cyprus, was announced as a new signing by the Latvian champions RFS. Despite AEL's interest, García chose to join RFS, with a contract extending for two and a half years until the end of the 2027 season. García has already arrived in Latvia and is participating in training sessions with his new club. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 200k euros.
