According to 4-4-2.ch, Swiss right-back Fabio Fehr has received an offer from FC St. Gallen, and the club is making a strong effort to complete the transfer. A transfer fee of more than 1.2 million Swiss francs is reportedly under discussion for the 26-year-old. While talks are ongoing, the deal is not yet finalized, and it is believed that it will be very difficult for St. Gallen to sign the player before the transfer deadline on September 8th. Fehr's current club, Thun, is making every effort to prevent more players from leaving. Thun's president, Andres Gerber, told "Blick" that the club has made an internal decision not to sell any more key players, particularly to direct competitors, citing a responsibility to the team, fans, and sponsors. Fehr is considered a key and consistent player in the defence and had his contract extended until 2027 in January. He joined FC Thun in July 2024 and has made one appearance for the Switzerland U20 team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.50m.
