Salford City has announced the signing of Fabio Borini through its official channels. The 34-year-old Italian has been given a contract, which is valid until the end of December, after maintaining his fitness with the English club over the past month.
Italian forward Fabio Borini, who is 34, has signed a three-month contract with Salford City that runs until January 2026, marking his return to English football. Borini was a free agent after his contract with Sampdoria expired on June 30. Salford City is a fourth-division club co-owned by Singaporean businessman Peter Lim and a group of former Manchester United players which includes David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville, and Phil Neville. The player's current market value is €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
