Centre-forward Fabio Borini is extending his stay at Salford City until at least the end of the season. The League Two side signed Borini on a short-term deal in mid-October. The once-capped Italian international, 34, trained with Salford for several weeks before signing a three-month contract. That agreement expired earlier this month but the club's management has acted to keep Borini for the remainder of the season. Fabio Borini has agreed terms and will sign his new deal today. In his one League Two appearance this season, he has scored one goal and provided two assists, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €200k.
