According to Football Insider, former Aston Villa CEO Keith Wyness has revealed that representatives of Ezri Konsa have held talks with Man City regarding a potential move next summer. Keith Wyness stated that he has heard there have been initial discussions, but they are not too far advanced at present. He added that he has been led to believe Konsa is considering his options, and that Villa would be very eager to retain him due to his consistency.

According to Graeme Bailey, via TBR Football, Manchester City and Tottenham are both interested in signing Aston Villa's Ezri Konsa as the two clubs seek defensive reinforcements. Konsa is a 28-year-old England international. While Villa have no plans to sell the player, they may have to consider a transfer if he does not sign a new contract before next summer, as he has just over two years remaining on his current deal. Konsa was also reportedly a target for Liverpool during the summer, and several big clubs are monitoring him ahead of a potential move in 2026.
