Hapal remains in contact with the 28-year-old offensive footballer. Ewerton's current period at the Egyptian club Pyramids, which he joined in July 2025, is not proceeding as anticipated. His playing time has been limited, and he has scored 2 goals in 11 matches. His contract with the Egyptian club is valid until June 2029, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is €2.80m. It is not certain whether either party would desire a reunion.
