According to Corriere dello Sport, Catanzaro targeted Modena's 30-year-old Italian striker Ettore Gliozzi as a replacement for Luca Pandolfi after sporting director Ciro Polito finalized Pandolfi's sale to Avellino. The negotiation for the striker was not completed before the 20:00 deadline. Gliozzi has recorded 9 goals and one assist this season. He joined Modena in January 2024, and his current contract expires in June 2026. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €800k.
