Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson has made signing a midfielder a priority after Brad Lyons was sidelined for at least a month following a knee operation. Dundee's 27-year-old Scottish midfielder Ethan Hamilton is being considered by the club, along with St Mirren's Killian Phillips. It has been reported that a £500,000 move for Phillips was too expensive for the Dons. Hamilton joined Dundee in August 2025 and is under contract until May 2028. He has a current Transfermarkt market value of €400k and has been capped 7 times for Scotland's U19 team.
