UD Las Palmas has decided against permanently signing 22-year-old Spanish winger Estanislau Pedrola from Sampdoria after his loan spell. The club had a purchase option but did not reach an economic agreement with the player. The president of Las Palmas had previously stated that after an initial deal was agreed upon, the player's representative altered the conditions and requested double the amount. As that transfer is not proceeding, Estanislau Pedrola's destination could now be RCD Mallorca, where he could potentially join Luis García Fernández, who managed UD Las Palmas until the end of the previous season. Pedrola's contract with Sampdoria is valid until 2027, and his current market value is €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
