Eseosa Sule, who joined West Brom in 2023 after impressing in their youth setup, was sent on a season-long loan to Scottish Premiership team Motherwell in the summer. The 19-year-old striker made three appearances in the Scottish League Cup, but his campaign was disrupted by an injury that now requires surgery. Consequently, Sule is returning to his parent club, West Brom. Motherwell manager Jens Berthel Askou expressed that the injury had deprived both the player and the club of a chance for him to thrive. Askou mentioned that they had been very hopeful of nurturing the Glasgow-born attacker's talent and believes Sule has the background and qualities to be a good player in the future.
