Slovakian centre-forward Erik Prekop, 28, from Slavia Prague could transfer to Polish vice-champion Górnik Zabrze. A potential summer move for the player, whose contract with Slavia is valid until June 30, 2028, is being discussed intensively. It is reported that the parties are approaching an agreement on a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros. If these reports are confirmed, the deal would likely be a record incoming transfer in Górnik's history. However, it is also noted that it may be wise to wait for other sources to confirm the fee, because the club's plan, even after being taken over by Lukas Podolski, might not involve such large expenditures immediately. Prekop, who has one cap for Slovakia, joined Slavia Prague in September 2025. He previously moved from Bohemians 1905 to Baník Ostrava in July 2024 for a fee of €480,000. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €700k.
