Erik Flataker Transfer from Sogndal to AIK

Erik Flataker, a 20-year-old Norwegian forward, has been confirmed to join AIK. Sportbladet previously revealed AIK's interest in the player, and the transfer has now been officially completed. Flataker was present in Stockholm and watched AIK's match against Degerfors. AIK's Head of Scouting and Recruitment, Fredrik Wisur Hansen, praised Flataker as a powerful and goal-dangerous forward. Flataker chose not to renew his contract with Sogndal, leading to his benching despite a successful start to the season with four goals in six matches. His contract with AIK runs until 2029.

Erik Flataker, a talented 20-year-old striker from Sogndal, is drawing considerable attention due to his impressive performances. Despite Sogndal's attempts to keep him, contract negotiations have stalled, and he has not played for the team since May. Both AIK and Strømsgodset have made bids for him, turning their long-term interest into tangible offers. Håvard Flo, Sogndal's player logistics manager, confirmed that discussions are ongoing, indicating that an agreement might be near. With the Norwegian transfer window currently open, the chances of his departure have significantly increased, and joining an Eliteserien side like AIK could be the next step in his career. Flo mentioned that they are currently in a process and chose not to comment on the club specifically, but he acknowledged that they are in dialogue about Flataker, implying that an agreement might soon be reached, allowing Flataker to continue his career with a new team.
