Erik Flataker Transfer from AIK to Go Ahead Eagles
Go Ahead Eagles targeted 21-year-old Norwegian striker Erik Flataker as a potential successor for Milan Smit, who had departed for Stoke City. The club made an offer for the AIK player. The bid was reportedly twenty million kronen, which is more than 1.8 million euros. AIK, where Flataker has a contract until the end of 2029, found the offer to be insufficient and rejected it. The Norwegian joined AIK in July 2025. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €600k. After the bid was rejected, Go Ahead Eagles changed their target and signed Stefán Sigurdarson instead.
