Expressen reports that AIK is close to selling Erik Flataker. The club is in negotiations with Go Ahead Eagles and, according to reports, the transfer involves eleven million kronor, which is approximately one million euros. Flataker was also on Go Ahead’s list last winter, when the club made a bid of 1.5 million euros that was not completed. AIK is still hoping to receive a similar amount for the striker and is trying to increase the transfer fee. It is outlined that the club and player have been aiming for a transfer for some time.

Go Ahead Eagles targeted 21-year-old Norwegian striker Erik Flataker as a potential successor for Milan Smit, who had departed for Stoke City. The club made an offer for the AIK player. The bid was reportedly twenty million kronen, which is more than 1.8 million euros. AIK, where Flataker has a contract until the end of 2029, found the offer to be insufficient and rejected it. The Norwegian joined AIK in July 2025. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €600k.
