Emerson Royal Transfer from Milan to Real Betis
Elvis García, who represents Emerson Royal, visited the Real Betis offices to explore the possibility of Emerson's return to the club. Emerson, who previously played for Real Betis from January 2019 to June 2021, moved on to FC Barcelona and subsequently to Tottenham. He was then transferred from Tottenham to Milan last summer in a deal worth approximately 17 million euros. Emerson is reportedly interested in the idea of rejoining Real Betis, though the club currently has several players in his position. It's likely that any transfer would take the form of a loan, contingent on departures of players in that role. Milan, on the other hand, would require a substantial transfer fee for a permanent move. Emerson has found it challenging at Milan, having participated in only 17 Serie A matches this season, and his family still maintains a residence in Sevilla. Despite these obstacles, Emerson has previously expressed a strong desire to return to Betis, having stated upon his initial move to Tottenham that he was certain he would play for Betis again in the future.
