German-Nigerian centre-forward Emeka Oduah, 24, will leave Carl Zeiss Jena. Oduah joined the club in September 2025, and his contract is set to expire on June 30, 2026. Oduah said that he decides based on where he feels comfortable, stating that he is a footballer with two hours of training a day, but the other 22 hours also have to be right. He indicated he is likely to continue in the Regionalliga. Oduah also said that he was three years out and another year in the Regionalliga might not hurt him. He added that he just looks at what suits him and has not forgotten that he acted too quickly with Emden and did not feel comfortable there. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €75k.
