Pisa made a first attempt to sign 24-year-old Italian right-back Emanuele Zuelli and striker Fabio Abiuso from Carrarese. According to Sestaporta.news, Pisa submitted a combined offer for the two players valued between €4 and €5 million. Carrarese rejected the bid, explaining that it does not want to negotiate for multiple players as a single package and demands separate discussions for each player. It is reported that the club values Abiuso alone at more than the total sum offered. Zuelli, who is contracted until 2027, is also drawing interest from some Serie A clubs as well as from Padova, whose new manager Antonio Calabro previously worked with the player. Zuelli joined Carrarese in July 2024 and has been capped twice by Italy U20. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.00m.
