Parma's Italian left-back Emanuele Valeri, 27, is being considered by Lazio, who are preparing for the potential departure of Nuno Tavares. According to Sky Sport, Valeri's name is once again being considered at the club. Tavares is described as being close to an exit, potentially as soon as January. Al-Ittihad has shown interest, although an agreement between the clubs is still pending. Valeri is a declared Lazio fan and came through their youth academy. He was previously close to returning to the club on a free transfer in an agreement that was almost finalized before it did not proceed.
