Olympique Béja and AS Saint-Étienne reached an agreement on Saturday for the transfer of 18-year-old Elyes Dhaoui. The defensive midfielder, a Tunisian youth international who made 32 league appearances last season, was also pursued by several other Ligue 1 clubs. Ultimately, the sporting project at AS Saint-Étienne and the prospect of gaining playing time in a competitive team convinced Dhaoui to join the club.
