English attacking midfielder Ellis Chapman, 25, has joined Derry City on a permanent deal from Shelbourne. Chapman has completed the switch to the Brandywell, and Derry completed the signing of Chapman ahead of their UEFA European transfer deadline for the first-round qualifying fixtures. Chapman will be available for Derry’s Europa League qualifying tie against CSKA Sofia and has signed a long-term deal. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €175k. He made 10 appearances in the 2025/2026 League of Ireland Premier Division season.
