Hoffenheim are interested in Elisha Owusu, a 28-year-old midfielder whose contract with AJ Auxerre runs until June 2027. The midfielder could move to the Bundesliga club this summer. According to his entourage, the German side's management has made him a priority target to strengthen their midfield. Hoffenheim have sent scouts to the United States to monitor the player's performances with Ghana at the World Cup. The club is reportedly prepared to pay the €8 million asking price set by AJ Auxerre, and the website Transfermarkt lists his market value at €4 million. Owusu, who holds both Ghanaian and French citizenship, joined Auxerre in January 2023. He has earned 21 caps for Ghana and made 29 appearances in Ligue 1 during the 2025/2026 season.
