The 20-year-old forward joins on a free transfer and had been without a club since leaving OB at the turn of the year. Stig Pedersen expressed his satisfaction with the signing, stating that the club has followed the player for a long time and that dialogue has been ongoing since the winter. Pedersen described Hansborg-Sørensen as a dedicated, hardworking, and dangerous goalscorer, and added that the club will build him up slowly as he arrived late in the window.
