Vicenza is looking for a new goalkeeper and is now interested in Elia Tantalocchi after a move for Atalanta's Paolo Vismara became less likely. According to Biancorossi.net, Juve Stabia has strong interest in Vismara and could offer him a starting role. Tantalocchi, a player born in 2004, has returned to Sampdoria after a loan at Campobasso in Serie C where he made 35 appearances last season. A departure from the Ligurian club is considered possible as he has a lower standing among the team's goalkeepers following the arrival of Vindahl and the renewal of the young Krastev. The deal could be facilitated by the fact that Sampdoria signed Giacomo Bianchi, a player born in 2008, from Vicenza on a free transfer in the summer. The Italian goalkeeper joined Sampdoria in July 2023, and his contract is valid until June 2027. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €200k.
