Derby County are considering a deal for Newcastle Jets' Australian attacker Eli Adams. The 24-year-old left-footed right-winger has another season on his contract at the McDonald Jones Stadium but is expected to move for a fee this summer. Last season, he contributed eight goals and four assists to his team's A-League title win, scoring 10 goals in all competitions. Derby County are interested in the player but there is reported competition from clubs across Europe and Asia, including Red Bull Salzburg, FC Copenhagen, Belgian side Gent, German clubs Nurnberg and Holstein Kiel, as well as Gamba Osaka from Japan. Adams joined the Jets in July 2024 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €650k.
