El Hadji Malick Diouf Transfer from Slavia Praha to West Ham United
West Ham are nearing the completion of signing El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague for a record fee of €25 million. The transfer is almost finalized, and Diouf is expected to travel to London this weekend to conclude the agreement. The deal, which includes add-ons, sets a new record for a player from the Czech domestic leagues. West Ham have outcompeted several Premier League clubs, such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Leeds, and Brighton, to acquire Diouf, who has been impressive with his performances both in domestic and international matches. The Senegalese left-back, noted for his goalscoring ability with seven goals this season, has also excelled internationally with Senegal, especially in their recent victory over England. Diouf, who can also play as a wide midfielder or wing-back, will join other Czech league transfers Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek at West Ham. His former coach expressed confidence that the Premier League would be a natural fit for him.
