Sources report that Club America is finalizing a deal to sign American-Mexican midfielder Edwin Cerrillo from the LA Galaxy. Cerrillo, 25, made 117 appearances with the Galaxy and was held out of the team's game this weekend as the deal neared completion. He joined the club in August 2023 and his contract runs until the end of 2026. Cerrillo has made 16 appearances in Major League Soccer this season and has one cap for the USA U23 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.50m.
