Hermannstadt has signed 28-year-old Romanian winger Eduard Florescu from Unirea Slobozia. The club is in a difficult league position and facing the possibility of relegation. Club shareholder Claudiu Rotar stated to Sport.ro that Hermannstadt intends to bring in two or three more players. Florescu joined Unirea Slobozia in July 2025 and has made 16 appearances in the SuperLiga this season, scoring one goal. He has one cap for Romania's U23 national team and a current market value of €300k, according to Transfermarkt.
