Edgaras Utkus Transfer from Cercle Brugge to Al Kholood
The Belgian club Cercle Brugge has officially announced that Lithuanian international Edgaras Utkus has departed the club after accepting a lucrative offer from the Saudi club Al-Kholood. Cercle Brugge cooperated with the 25-year-old defender's exit because his contract was expiring and is set to recover around 1.2 million euros. Utkus joined the club in 2021 from parent club AS Monaco and made approximately 113 appearances. The defender has 23 caps for Lithuania and had scored 3 goals in 19 league appearances this season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.80m. In August 2024, it was reported that a club from Serie A had made a formal offer of €5,000,000.
